Reema Lagoo Passed Away Following A Cardiac Arrest

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo who has earned immense fame for playing supportive and motherly roles in Marathi and Hindi cinema and also acted in TV shows passed away at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai in the early hours of Thursday.

Reema who was born on May 18 in 1958 started her acting career with a Marathi stage drama and she was famous for portraying the role of modern mother to several big stars from the film fraternity and Reema was noted for her roles in “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”, “kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Hum Saath Saath Hain”, “Kal Ho Naa Ho”, “Maine Pyar Kiya” etc. Reema also acted in a popular Television show “Tu Tu Main Main” and was currently seen on the hit TV show “Naamkaran”.

The actress, who was 59 years old complained of chest pain and she was rushed to the hospital where she took her last breath due to cardiac arrest.
