Kareena Kapoor Khan was the showstopper for the acclaimed Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the much-awaited grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016. Her sister Karisma Kapoor along with actresses Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu were among those who attended the event.
“I must say it’s not one but two of us. It’s a very special moment. I have never walked for Sabyasachi before, we were not able to do a film together. But this moment is very special. It’s going to be in the history. I am actually very emotional right now. It is a moment I want everyone to cherish. I would like to say Sabyasachi is not a designer he is an artist. He creates painting. I am really honoured to wear this artist,” Kareena said post the show. "Everyone made this edition so special for me. For me, it's quite an emotional moment as this was the first time we (she and her future child) took the ramp together. It was a moment to cherish," the actress told IANS.
"I was happy and confident. A pregnant woman can walk and fly and for me it's absolutely normal. When it comes to my work, acting is my passion and I will work till I die. As long as I am doing what I love, I am going to do that," she added.
