Prada to stop using animal fur from 2020

The Italian high-end brand, Prada stated that it will no long use animal fur in making their products starting from Spring 2020.

This decision was taken as an outcome of collaboration with fur free groups, which consists atleast fifty animal protection groups from forty countries. The head designer of Prada, Miuccia Prada gave a statement, saying, "The Prada Group is committed to innovation and social responsibility, and our fur-free policy (...) is an extension of that engagement". She further added saying, "Focusing on innovative materials will allow the company to explore new boundaries of creative design while meeting the demand for ethical products".

Along with Prada, other luxury brands like Car Shoe, Miu Miu and Church, Gucci, Armani and Versace  are also against using animal fur.
