Heartthrob KJ Apa has nailed his version of Archie Andrews on TV drama “Riverdale”, but we will see him broaden his horizons with the new upcoming romantic comedy, “The Last Summer”.
Written and directed by Bill Bindley, the film will tell the story of a group of high school graduates whose lives collide over the summer before they begin college. It has been co-written by Bindley’s brother, Scott Bindley, with a polish by April Prosser.
KJ Apa, 20, has shot up to fame since his break through role on the New Zealand soap opera “Shortland Street” and we see much more coming. The female lead is yet to be finalised. The shooting is set to begin in April this year, with no release date as of yet, but we can’t wait to see KJ Apa sizzle in his new persona.
