Nawazuddin Siddiqui about his book 'An Ordinary Life: A memoir'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui had turned writer for a book titled 'An Ordinary Life: A memoir', which had every little detail about his life journey.

At the time of the launch, the book had created quite a bit of controversy hence the actor had decided to withdraw the book. The book had landed into trouble as Nawazuddin mentioned names of two actors. Later, the actors took to social media and apologised, “I m apologising 2 every1 who's sentiments r hurt bcz of d chaos around my memoir #AnOrdinaryLife. I hereby regret & decide 2 withdraw my book”.

Nawazuddin gave statement about his memoir, which said, "The entire motive of the endeavour was turned on its head. I wanted to put my story forward so that others from small towns with big dreams could follow in my footsteps. How was I to know that 5 pages of the book would kill the impact of my entire effort? The book had 209 pages. Only 5 of those pages were written about over and over again".
