Kanye West Meets With Trump

Kanye West met with President-elect Donald Trump to discuss what he said were "multicultural issues".

"I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues," West wrote in a series of tweets. "These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change." Then West, who has repeatedly floated a 2020 presidential run, tweeted “#2024.”Then West, who has repeatedly floated a 2020 presidential run, tweeted “#2024.”Then West, who has repeatedly floated a 2020 presidential run, tweeted “#2024.”

West's visit with Trump was one of his first public appearances since his hospitalization, following strange onstage behaviour and the abrupt cancellation of his tour. When asked by the present media what they spoke about, Trump replied: “Just friends, just friends. He’s a good man.”

“We've been friends for a long time,” Trump told press in a video posted by CNN, and added that they discussed “life.”
