Tucked away in a by lane of Banjara Hills, Jus’ Blouses – the couture house for blouses – is a labour of love by Varsha Mahendra. The store which was first founded in Khairtabad in the year 2010 has rapidly expanded to become one of the best shopping destinations for designer blouses. “I wanted to start my own business and realised there was a definite for a place where you could get readymade blouses in the city,” she says, adding: “I ensure the blouses match the sarees in a way that would enhance the overall look as well as complement the wearer.” Personally curated by Varsha, the store has a sharply honed aesthetic and promises a new fashion experience for all fashion connoisseurs. “I have personally designed the space and look into everything at the store. Be it the embroidery, surface ornamentation, intricate detailing, handcrafting, customising or the bespoke tailoring, I look through hundreds of styles and select only the best of the best,” she states.
The boutique is visually appealing, mixing colourful products with modern minimalistic sensibilities. Donning shades of brown and white, the store has been stylishly partitioned into sections that give shoppers the opportunity and space to concentrate on what they’re actually there to buy.
