A Los Angeles County judge reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Tyga after the rapper failed to show up at a Santa Monica court for a hearing in a lawsuit filed by his former landlord.
According to TMZ, Tyga was expected to appear for questioning about his finances after a former landlord was granted a $480,000 judgment for unpaid rent and damages to the Malibu property.
In a statement to press, the landlord's legal representation Alexander Cohen and Associates described the plaintiff's complaints against Tyga. The statement reads: "Once the Plaintiff took possession of the property he realized that Tyga, without the required prior consent of the Plaintiff, installed a stripper pole in the middle of the master bedroom, disconnected the intercom system of the home, altered the laundry room electrical wiring, removed and/or installed televisions, TV brackets, safe box, security system, and had broken and damaged multiple glass tiles in both master bathroom showers and around the fireplace amongst other damages. Tyga had also literally torn off the automatic gate opener, and severely damaged the hardwood floors throughout the house."
The judge issued a bench warrant, which means Tyga could go to jail with bail set at $10,000.
The statement further reads, "It is clear that Mr. Stevenson thought he had better things to do; like buy his girlfriend Kylie Jenner a new $189,000.00 Maybach while continuing to claim poverty. Kylie shouldn't get too comfortable in her new car; it's unlikely to be hers much longer."
