Actor John Abraham has said that he enjoys being able to give content-driven films to his audience. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming flick Batla House. Abraham spoke to the media during the launch of Hershey’s Sofit protein cookies in Mumbai on Tuesday. He played the villain in Yash Raj Films Dhoom which released back in 2004, so he was asked if he would feature in the hit movie franchise again, to which he said, "I don't know. If it is offered to me then, we will see. I am not producer of that film so, I can't say much."
He went on to say that he would like to work in movies which are high on content. "As a producer, I will make films like 'Vicky Donor', 'Madras Cafe' and 'Parmanu - The Story of Pokharan' and 'Batla Hose' because that is my space. I think today the audience likes content and as a producer and actor, I can only give content because I enjoy that."
He revealed that the shooting of Batla House, which is scheduled to release on August 15th next year, has begun. Talking about his forthcoming flicks, he said, , "I have 'RAW' (Romeo Akbar Walter) releasing next and after that, we will release 'Batla House'. Then, I will start shoot for my comedy film 'Pagalpanti' with Anees (Bazmee) bhai." Sadly, when asked about his Christmas and New Year plans he revealed that the end of this year is going to be spent shooting for him. "I am shooting. Nikhil Advani is making me shoot till December 31 and I am again shooting from January 2."
