Though rumours recently suggested that leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez of the first film, “Kick”, wouldn’t be a part of the sequel to a Salman Khan starrer, producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala has rubbished the rumours and has confirmed that the script is being written keeping Jacqueline in mind.
According to DNA report, Sajid revealed ““We had already decided that there would be a sequel. I’ve been writing it for a year now. As I had a lot of other things on my plate, it was taking time. I’ll restart the writing process. We should be ready to roll the movie next year, after Salman finishes all his current films. Kick 2 will release on Christmas 2019,"
Even though Sajid believes it is too early to be talking about this, he maintained that so far, she has been included in the writing process. For now, the gorgeous duo is all set to bring their magic back to the big screen in Ramesh Taurani’s “Race 3”. Shooting is currently taking place in Thailand. Directed by Remo D’souza, it also stars Bobby Deol, Diasy Shah, Anil Kapoor and Saqib Saleem in significant roles. After wrapping the shoot, Salman will move on to work on “Bharat” with Ali Abbas Zafar, along with Prabhu Deva directorial, “Dabangg 3” after. --- Rubaina Bilgrami
