After 13 years of marriage, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are calling it quits.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” Stefani and Rossdale said in a joint statement to People.
Gwen, 45, filed papers to end their marriage in a California court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The Bush frontman, 49, is said to have filed his response at the same time, and both parties are allegedly seeking joint custody of their children.
There had been rumors that the couple was splitting before, yet this sure feels official. Gavin allegedly cheated on Gwen with the kids’ nanny in 2012, however there was no truth found behind that. Even months after Gwen and Gavin welcomed Apollo in 2014, a report claimed that the once strong couple had fallen out of love.
Stefani and Rossdale, began dating in 1996 and got married in September 2002. They have three sons together: Kingston, nine, Zuma, who turns seven later this month, and 17-month-old Apollo.
