Google Ventures CEO Bill Maris Leaves Company

According to Recode, Bill Maris, the chief executive and founder of Alphabet Inc's venture capital arm Google Ventures, is leaving the company.

Maris whose last day will be on Friday is being replaced by GV Managing Partner David Krane.

Maris , 41, who founded the company in 2009 and managed to build the capital managed upwards of $2.4 billion would be the third high-ranking executive to depart from the Alphabet units in recent months. The other two executives who resined were Tony Fadell, the Nest CEO and Chris Urmson, the CTO and former director of the self-driving car project.
