Luxottica, for a second year, will be featuring the Ray-Ban Scuderia Ferrari sunglasses at airports all around the globe. This will coincide with the Formula One global race events. Having worked with Scuderia Ferrari for three years now, Ray-Ban has signed a multi-year license agreement in 2016 for the design, manufacture, and sale of the eye-wear collection, branded Ray-Ban and Ferrari. This year, the collection offers a fresh take of the classic retro designs. The heritage colour that Ray-Ban and Scuderia share – red, can be seen on the nose pads and temple tips. The frames come with a specially-designed packaging and the famous Ray-Ban Scuderia Ferrari shield on the lenses and temples. A brilliant stroke of global marketing, Formula One races and the strategy to collaborate with Ray-Ban has attracted affluent clientele from all over the world.
