Fried Coconut And Cashew Nut Dim Sum With Honey
Coconut (freshly grated)
Dim sum flour
Black sesame seeds
1. For the filling, sauté the grated coconut until light brown. Chop and fry the cashew nuts. Now mix the coconut, cashew nuts, sugar and honey together.
2. Mix the dim sum flour with salt, cooking oil and warm water to form a hard dough. Divide the dough into sections of 25 gm each, roll each section into circles with a thick centre and tapering ends.
3. Place one teaspoon of the filling in the centre of the circle and seal the edges, forming the desired shape.
4. Steam the dim sums for ten minutes, and then fry them on a low flame. Serve with honey, garnished with black sesame seeds.
