Fendi to pay tribute to karl Lagerfeld

Italian luxury fashion house, Fendi announced that it will pay a special tribute to the legendary fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld with a fashion show.

This fashion show will take place in Rome on July 4th 2019. For a time frame of 54 years, Karl Lagerfeld was the artistic director of Fendi. The designs that are going to be exhibited at this show will be in collaboration with Silvia Venturini Fendi, who received training under Karl Lagerfeld. This exclusive show might take place at the Trevi Fountain, a popular spot that the fashion house had restored as part of their 90th anniversary celebrations in the year 2016.

The multitalented, Karl Lagerfeld was an artist, fashion designer, creative director, caricaturist, and photographer. Along with serving as the director of Italian fur and leather goods for Fendi, he was also the creative director for the renowned fashion house, Chanel. He is the vision behind modernising the usage of fur to make garments. He had introduced the use of rabbit, squirrel pelts and mole into high end fashion.  

Further details about the fashion show are yet to be revealed.
