The word ‘Farzi’ can have many connotations, but at Farzi Café, it has just one—“creating an illusion” with its cuisine.
With two outlets in the capital city, Farzi Cafe is located in DLF Cyber Hub in Gurgaon and in the heart of New Delhi -- Connaught Place. The concept, started by Zorawar Kalra of Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd, aims at bringing Indian cuisine back “in vogue”.
Covering an overall area of 4500 sq.ft, with a large island bar, the Connaught Place outlet can accommodate around 100 guests at a given time. The high-energy ambience brings together unique interior elements, giving it a spacious and rustic feel. True to its philosophy, and aiming to offer a platform for established and upcoming talent in the field of music, it offers a dedicated performance stage while keeping its guests enthralled with the Tapas-style menu.
Advancing its aim to surprise the global palate, the menu at Farzi Café has an elaborate hoppers section, serving novel dishes such as Asparagus and Water Chestnut Khurma, Fresh Coconut Appam, Malaya prawns and Pan-Fried Sri Lankan hoppers, in addition to the nano plates, soups and salads, vegetarian and non-vegetarian tapas, and burger-buns. Bringing together the use of the latest in technology with modernist culinary techniques, the café uses elements such as centrifuge, distillers, vacuum evaporation, compress cooking, and other methods to showcase the next level of innovation.
Overall the restaurant is a quirky, chic, modern Indian café where guests can enjoy a sensory experience of a generous dose of Indian flavours. It amalgamates traditional global and Indian classics, contemporary presentations, culinary styles and ambience, to absorb the guest into the ultimate gastronomic illusion.
