For a Cocktail Party:

Statement Classic Look-  As much as we love to talk about trendy makeup ideas that are doing the rounds, we can never forget the tried and tested classic looks that are always in style. Most glamorous celebrities can be seen enhancing their best features with a classic yet natural makeup look. This classic statement look is suitable for any occasion, especially a cocktail party. To get this look, one must choose a light colour on the eyes with a pop of subdued shimmer eye shadow on the upper lids. Apply lots of mascara and use a simple winged eyeliner. To make your look pop a bit, apply a heavy highlighter on the cheeks. Complete the look with a bold lip colour such as deep red, bright pink, dark maroon, etc.

Smoky Sultry Look- Another trending cocktail party makeup look for brides-to-be is the smoky sultry look. When it comes to getting that smoky effect, it can be difficult to achieve the perfect look. The key is to choose the right shade and know where to apply it. The evergreen intense smoky eyes can be done by using earthy tones such as deep purple or even a brownish black. On the other hand, brides can highlight their eyes using metal halo colours such as teal green and blue shades. To complement the smoky eyes or a metal halo eye shadow, opt for a nude lipstick and a natural bronze finish on the face.

Straightened or silky looking hair with soft curls complements both a classic look and a smoky sultry makeup.
Sangeet: From dancing to groovy tracks to socialising with friends and family, the sangeet is the most fun and anticipated event before the wedding. When a bride prepares for the night, she wants to look absolutely stunning. One must go for a more refreshing, floral makeup with a pastel eye shadow in light pink or lavender. Then finish off the look with a flush of pink on the cheeks and light muted lips in a plum pink, peachy nude or a rose pink tone. As far as the hair is concerned, opt for a waterfall braid with tiny real flowers, soft yet voluminous curls or a half updo.

Wedding: The day of the wedding is when a bride must look her absolute best, including with long-lasting makeup. To get it right, remember to always hide visible blemishes by applying a heavy concealer and a foundation that suits your skin tone. Intense smoky glitter eyes will never go out of fashion for a bride. Add to the glamour quotient by going with bold makeup, or opt for a subtle look if it suits the outfit. The bold look can consist of deep wine, maroon or red colours. On the other hand, subtle colours include rose, mauve or plum pinks. To complete the bridal look, go for a bridal braid hairstyle with extensions, accessorised with beautiful flowers. One can even choose a voluminous or a messy boho updo.
