English Premier League Smashed Through The £1billion Spending Barrier
This season the English Premier League clubs have collectively spent more than £1 billion on transfer fees for the first time in history.
Paul Pogba’s world-record £89 million move to Manchester United makes up nearly a tenth of this season’s total spending and Arsenal’s £35million capture of Shkodran Mustafi was also significant in breaking the £1 billion barrier.
