Dum ki nalli

Ingredients                                 Qty

mutton shank                            300 gm
onion (sliced)                           100 gm
tomato puree                            50 ml
red chilli paste                          10 gm
garam masala                           5 gm
ginger-garlic paste                   10 gm
oil                                             50 ml
salt                                           to taste
coriander                                 5 gm
mutton stock                            500 ml
garam masala (powder)           for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.   Heat oil in a pan and add garam masala. Add the onions when the garam masala starts to crackle. Fry until golden-brown.
2.   Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for few minutes. Add the chilli paste and salt, and cook.
3.   Add the mutton shanks and stock. Cook until the shanks are ¾ done, then add tomato puree. Cook until the mutton is done.
4.   Garnish with coriander leaves and garam masala powder.
5.   Serve hot.
