David Harbour, who plays the much-loved chief Hopper on the show Stranger Things, officiated a wedding! It all started when huge Stranger Things fan Ericka Millholland from Springfield, Illinois, reached out to the star and asked him what it would take for her to get him to officiate her wedding to Daniel Rockwood, which was to take place in September. The actor hilariously took her up on her offer, stating that he would do it if he for 125,000 retweets, as well as the first slice of the cake! When that tweet got 132,000 retweets, Harbour got ordained and took part in her ceremony! He even did it dressed as Chief Hopper!
The 43-year-old even posted a picture on his Twitter account on Saturday, writing, “Hey internet. I know it's been awhile. I retreated. Needed some space. You probably get it. But I've been thinking about ya in the interim. And all your retweets. And so me and some fun folks in Springfield, Illinois made good on our promise we made all those months ago.” Fans were ecstatic! The bride also revealed that although she is a huge fan of the show Stranger Things, her than-fiancé has “never actually sat and watched the show,” adding, “I’m going to sit down and make him do it.” What a fun guy!
