Daisy Lowe was too busy for love

Working hard can come in the way of relationships, and no one knows this more than Daisy Lowe, who said that her work got in the way of her relationship with her former beau Frankie Wade, since she was too exhausted to give anything to her relationship.

In an interview to The Sun "At the beginning, which is supposed to be the most joyful ¬honeymoon period, I had nothing to give him. We could have coped with the pressure if we had been together for ages and had known all of the ins and outs of each other. But we had just met and suddenly it was like, 'Who is this really tired person?' I didn't really know who this really tired person was either," Lowe said.

She added: "I'm never usually this exhausted every single day. Frankie deserves more than that and so do I. I deserve to take care of myself. Now when I get home, I have a bath and take myself to bed."

The intensity of her work life she says damaged her relationship, "Love didn't ever come into mine and Frankie's relationship. We never talked about it because we only dated for a few months. He is such an amazing man but I've only got one opportunity to do Strictly and I want to give it absolutely everything.

"He embraced it and was really supportive. He was in the green room week after week, chatting to my family for hours while I was on the show. But trying to start a new relationship at the same time was just too much. Strictly is the most intense thing I've ever done, as well as the best. And I need to think about getting through each week before I can think about anything else."
