Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has opened up about his split with his wife actress Gwenyth Paltrow, which took place back in 2014. He confessed that he was a “mess” to the point that his band members were worried about his well-being. The former couple are parents to two children together, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12. The confession happened while filming Coldplay’s new documentary, Coldplay: A Head Full Of Dreams, which saw Martin reveal that when the band was touring their album Mylo Xyloto, he felt “completely worthless and nothing to anybody.”
"I was just like, 'I'm a mess', really, because I can't enjoy the great things around me. Then, of course, I went through a break-up with Gwyneth. Listen, I'm never going to moan, I'm grateful for everything, but it was pretty touch and go," he continued.
However, fans are pleased to see that the singer seems to have finally moved on as he is currently dating the Fifty Shades Of Grey actress Dakota Johnson. Meanwhile, Gwenyth is now married to the TV director Brad Falchuk. The two got hitched back in September.
