Chicken Pearl Dumpling

chicken (minced)                 180 gm
carrot (chopped)                 10 gm
ginger (chopped)                10 gm
spring onion (chopped)       10 gm
salt                                      to taste
sugar                                   2 gm
sesame oil                           3 ml
corn flour                             10 gm
rice (raw, soaked)                100 gm


1.   Mix the minced chicken thoroughly with the rest of the ingredients except the soaked rice. Divide the marinated chicken mince into six balls of equal size.

2.   Evenly coat the chicken balls with raw rice and steam in a dim sum basket for eight minutes until the chicken and rice are done. Serve hot.
