Well-known director Mahi V. Raghav is currently riding high on success as his latest film "Yatra", did well at the box office. Now, the latest news has it that Mahi is planning to make a sequel.
"Yatra" starring Mammootty is a Telugu language biographical film about the padayatra of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to 2009. This upcoming film is titled "Yatra 2" and it will narrate the story of Jaganmohan Reddy, who won the recent elections in Andhra Pradesh with a large number of votes. Reports suggest that the director is planning to make this sequel way more interesting than "Yatra". The plot of the film will shed light upon Jagan's padayatra, which helped him to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Some rumours doing rounds suggest that, talented Tamil superstar Suriya is being considered to play Jagan in this film.
Jagan’s victory in the elections not only caught the attention of south Indian director but even Bollywood filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap are keen on making a film about him.
