Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have called it quits after almost two years together.
Hadid, 20, and The Weeknd, 25,— real name: Abel Tesfaye, first met when the ‘Starboy’ singer asked her to model for the artwork for his breakthrough album ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ back in April 2015.
The pair first stepped out together publicly at the 2016 Grammys. “I’m dating Abel,” Hadid then confirmed to ‘Glamour’ magazine in August 2016. “I don’t see him as The Weeknd. I’m proud of The Weeknd and the music he makes, but I really love Abel.”
According to People, a source said, "Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album." The source added, "They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.”
But their busy schedules will see the former couple reunite at this year's Victoria's Secret show in Paris, where Bella will hit the runway for the lingerie giant while The Weeknd will perform.
