Versatile actor Arjun Rampal will be seen in a biopic on gangster turned politician Arun Gawli. The political drama film “Daddy” is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and co-written by Arjun Rampal and Ashim Ahluwalia. The film is presented by Kundalini Entertainment and Karta Entertainment.
“Daddy” is set in 1970’s, when the Mumbai mills were locked down and people were unemployed. The story revolves around Arun Gawli, who became one of India’s most feared gangsters. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.
Arjun took to Twitter to share the trailer of the movie, with a caption that says “The true story of a man who stopped at nothing. Here’s the much-awaited #DaddyTrailer @DaddyRealStory @aishu_dil."
“Daddy” is slated to release on July 21st 2017.
