Apple Tart

Ingredients                              Qty
apple                                          2
sugar                                          15 gm
cinnamon (powdered)                 3 gm
butter                                          20 gm

For the sweet paste:
maida                                       100 gm
salt                                            2 gm
sugar                                        30 gm    
unsalted butter                         100 gm

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.   Mix the maida, salt and butter well. Knead with a few drops of cold water until it is a crumbly dough.
2.   Roll into a thick sheet and cut a circle. Brush with melted butter.
3.   Thinly slice the apples and arrange them on the sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
4.   Bake in a medium-hot oven until the base is crunchy.
5.   Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
