Ankurit Moong Dal Ki Shammi

Instructions

1. Soak the green moong dal in water overnight or for a day. Wash and drain the potatoes, add a pinch of salt and boil it in a pressure cooker for three to five whistles or until it is cooked thoroughly. Peel the boiled potato.

2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the oil, and mix it well to make a smooth and tight dough by avoiding water. Divide the dough into 10 to 12 equal sized balls and coat them with sprouts. Take a deep skillet and pour oil to shallow fry it.

3. Place the flattened kebabs on the skillet and allow it to fry for a couple of minutes or till it turns golden-brown on both sides. Place it on a tissue to remove the excess oil and serve hot, preferably with mint chutney.
