Forbes Magazine has come out with an inaugural list of America’s 50 richest self-made women on Wednesday. The list is measured by their net worths and the ranking includes entrepreneurs, CEOs, entertainers, designers and even an author.
Elizabeth Holmes, the founder and CEO of blood testing firm Theranos is both the youngest and richest woman in the world tand tops the list with a fortune worth an estimated $4.5 billion.
Pop star Beyoncé Knowles is the second-youngest on the list, with an estimated net worth of $250 million at age 33.
ABC Supply’s Diane Hendricks who is worth $3.7 billion follows Holmes on the list which also includes Oprah Winfrey Anna Wintour, Diane von Furstenberg, Tory Burch and Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg.
Jessica Alba is featured in the cover story Natural Woman , in which Forbes exclusively reports that her stake in The Honest Company is worth as much as $200 million, making her one of the richest self-made women in Hollywood.
