Aloo Matar Tikki

1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker or in a pan until it turns soft, and then peel and mash them. Boil the peas for five minutes, drain the water, and transfer them to a small bowl. Add the mashed potatoes, four tsp of breadcrumbs, corn flour, grated ginger, coriander leaves, green chillies, garam masala powder, lemon juice, sugar, and salt to it.

2. Mix them all together to make a smooth dough-like mixture and divide the mixture into ten equal portions, and then roll them into small balls. Press it gently between your palms to make patties.

3. Coat the patties with breadcrumbs on all sides. Drizzle 2 to 3 tsp of oil in a pan and cook the patties in it till the surface turns golden-brown, then flip it and do the same.
