Fans rejoice! The Netflix Original movie To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is getting a sequel! The stars of the movie, Lana Condor and Noah Centineo are officially to return to filming for the sequel. Netflix confirmed the news on Thursday. The films have been based on Jenny Han’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy series. The screenplay is being written by Sofia Alvarez, while no director or release date has been confirmed yet.
The original film was helmed by Susan Johnson, who confirmed last month that the sequel is in development via a post on her Instagram account. However, Netflix only said that the sequel was under discussion.
Also starring in the movie were Israel Broussard, Janel Parrish, Andrew Bachelor, Anna Cathcart, and John Corbett. The story followed a girl whose life spins out of control when her secret love letters get mailed. Han has also penned P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever as the second and third books in the trilogy. -Rubaina Bilgrami and Picture Courtesy – Lana Condor Instagram
