Meghna Gulzar, who received a critically acclaimed award for “Talvar” is collaborating with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal for a film set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
The film is an adaption of “Calling Sehmat A Novel” written by Harinder S. Sikka. The movie revolves around the story of a Kashmiri woman, married to an Army Officer from Pakistani, who provides information to the Indian intelligence. Alia and Vicky are undergoing training on the accent, dialect and the general characteristics of their onscreen characters in a workshop conducted by Meghna Gulzar.
On the workfront, Alia will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s science fiction“Dragon”. On the other hand Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Anand Tiwari’s “Love Per Square Foot”, which is slated to release on 8th September 2017.
