LG MINI GD880

LG Electronics launched its new LG Mini (LG GD880), a pocket-sized communications hub that maximises the mobile web experience. LG Mini is the first phone to use LG’s HTML 5-compatible Phantom Browser, which offers a much faster and more stable Internet experience. Mini also includes special Internet applications and social network connection features that make keeping in touch with online friends easier than ever.

The LG Mini is a 3.2-inch full touch-screen phone that feels solid in the hand and is small enough to fit into any pocket. A button-free face contributes to Mini’s simple and sleek personality, while textured metal accents on the sides add to the phone’s visual appeal without detracting from its clean look. This design won the LG Mini a Red Dot award and iF product design award in March. The LG Mini also offers push email, a 5.0 megapixel camera, wi-fi, A-GPS, FM radio and 7.2 Mbps HDSPA.

SONY ERICSSON VIVAZ PRO

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro adds a QWERTY keyboard to the touch-screen series, delivering a user experience optimised for messaging and entertainment. The full QWERTY keyboard allows consumers to communicate quickly and efficiently via email, SMS or social networking updates. Just like its flagship phone, Sony Ericsson Vivaz, announced in January, Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro allows consumers to produce and broadcast their best experiences in HD video. The open platform also allows users to personalise their entertainment experience by downloading applications through PlayNow and the Symbian Developer Community.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro features the new design philosophy, human curvature, which will become a consistent feature of the Sony Ericsson portfolio going forward. Designed to mirror the shape of the human body, and at the same time deliver a precise and compelling way of interacting with the phone, Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is instantly recognisable.
